The past little while has been very busy! The time that I have had to knit has consisted of hauling an easy-to-multitask project in my bag, which has lately been the Rowan Felted Tweed scarf. Even then, I’ve not made enough progress on it to make a seemingly big difference.

Just a note to all of you, after a couple of re-writes and a proofread from the Pirate, the Knitting Ninja edition of the Jayne Cobb hat is available as a free knitting pattern, in my patterns section. Enjoy!

I must say. When knitting on such longer projects as socks, vests, scarves and unending babythings, it’s comforting to pick up some big needles, big yarn, and knit a hat.

I have a new camera! It’s a Canon Powershot A570 IS, and it’s really spiff.

I have, of course, been wasting most of its battery on taking yarn detail photos, because the old camera couldn’t do such things.
