The Knitting Ninja is a 24-year old artist residing in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. She has acquired degrees in design and business management. She currently operates a pet portrait and product business, and has a goal to someday have her own farm, raising sheep, goats and horses. Her knitting style varies from geeky knits and lace to babythings and things that go on her head. Her knitting career is still quite new; however, she has dabbled in many areas of crafting and arts, including illustration, design, costume-making, embroidery, cooking, silk screening, writing, reading, and…. the list goes on.
When she’s not crafting, she bikes, practices yoga (poorly), plays guitar/piano, hangs out with her many pets, and spends time with her favorite people.

Hello I represent HSE Manga Club and I fell in love with your Knitting patterns~!
With my school club, we raise money to buy manga for the library by selling art and such at anime conventions, and I fell in love with your Chain Chomp Hat and other things. I would really like your permission to make and sell these at the con for our fundraiser, and if allowed, I will make small index cards with your website on it and place it with each item sold so that you gain credit for the idea of the items.
From one Otaku to another,
Tom Suke

Did I meet you as Allis at Recess in Syracuse?
Hi there – I’m quite intrigued with this hat for a Jaws fan. However, the pattern doesn’t specify whether it’s adult or child – the needles aren’t that different in size and the gauge is the same. I’m a fairly experienced self taught knitter but have never seen the term “M1″ before. What does this mean? A bit more detail might help, thanks
